There are many things to be thankful for this year, professionally and personally.  Here at the Watkins Firm, we are encouraged by and thankful for the positive signs we continue to see in the business, construction, real estate and medical sectors of the local economy.  Business is growing, and the economic support flowing into construction projects is bringing new life to many areas of town.

Local real estate values continue to recover and increase.  Many local real estate markets are seeing home transactions in literally a few days from the placement of a “coming soon” or “for sale” sign being planted in the front yard.  The implementation of the Affordable Health Care Act has more than a year of practical experience under its belt, and local physicians and health care delivery facilities are settling into new processes.
